PROJECT MANAGEMENT The Project Manager for the VA Team will be Carlos Pineda, P.E., LEED AP, QSD /QSP. Carlos will provide overall project management and direction for projects. Carlos is a California registered Professional Engineer with 33 years of professional engineering experience in design development and construction of community infrastructure. His public works design experience covers a wide variety of projects including the improvement of major arterials, secondary highways and collectors, flood control and drainage, water and sewer systems, ADA retrofit, and safe routes to schools. He is invaluable as a Project Manager and has a reputation for adding value to projects through innovation, sustainability, and value engineering. Carlos will be supported by VA's Principal in Charge, Max Vahid, P.E., Quality Control Supervisor, Mohammad Heist, P.E. and Keith Rutherfurd, T.E. (Alternate Project Manager /Traffic Analysis and Design). Max and Mohammad are Registered Engineers in the State of California with a combined professional engineering experience of 69 years. Max and Mohammad are invaluable as quality control leaders and have a reputation for exceptional quality project documents and adding value to projects through innovation, sustainability, and value engineering. They will ensure that proper resources are provided to complete the project on time and within budget and that precise, quality project documents are submitted. Keith is a California registered Traffic Engineer with 29 years of professional experience with a broad background in transportation analysis and the preparation of traffic design plans. Key Staff Qualifications The team members selected to work on this project have extensive experience individually and as a team in providing the anticipated services. Table 1 below provides a summary of each individual's credentials, proof of California professional licenses required to perform the scope and specifications of this project, years of professional experience, and percentage of time available to dedicate to this project. All key staff members will be available for the duration of the proposed contract and will provide the necessary resources to successfully complete all tasks on time and within budget. No person designated as "key' to the project will be removed or replaced without the prior written concurrence of the City. .
