Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to <br />execute the attached Mills Act agreement with the Alejandro R. Martinez and Summer M. Taylor, <br />subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />Request of Applicant <br />Alejandro R. Martinez and Summer M. Taylor are requesting approval to designate an existing <br />residence located at 2204 North Ross Street to the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties, as <br />well as approval to execute a Mills Act agreement with the City of Santa Ana. <br />Project Location and Site Description <br />The subject property consists of a 2,325 square foot, two -story Tudor Revival style residence and <br />detached garage on a quarter acre sized residential lot located on Ross Street between Santa Clara <br />Avenue and Nineteenth Street (Exhibit 1). <br />Analysis of the Issues <br />Historical Listing <br />In March 1999, the City Council approved Ordinance <br />Resources Commission and the Santa Ana Register <br />Resources Commission may, by resolution and at a noticed <br />EXHIBIT B8 <br />25A -105 <br />No. NS -2383 establishing the Historic <br />of Historical Properties.
