the key strategic Initiative will be to address <br />this gap based on our assessment of the <br />GIS hardware, systems, software, and data <br />environment, aligned with the GIS technology <br />strategy. <br />4.1 Develop conceptual database design — <br />Psornas will develop a conceptual design of <br />the GIS data repository based on the Esri Local <br />Government Information Model (LGIM) that <br />unifies existing GIS databases maintained by <br />various data owners. <br />4.2 Develop GIS technology <br />recommendations — Psornas will identify GIS <br />technology recommendations to address the <br />following categories: <br />., IT Infrastructure configuration <br />GIS server requirements <br />GIS asset management <br />GIS data repository and maintenance policies <br />4.3 Develop GIS system design document <br />— Psornas will compile the design and <br />recommendations to produce a GIS system <br />design document. <br />Deliverables <br />Conceptual database model (MS Vislo, PDF) <br />GIS system design document (MS Word, <br />PDF) <br />raslt 'i lu'velon Inipir"111'efitaillin 11bill <br />The implementation plan will Incorporate <br />strategic Initiatives and expand on the plan to <br />define Implementation projects, sequences, <br />aggregate resource needs and costs by year, <br />an implementation timeline, and plan execution <br />management requirements. <br />51 Develop GIS workflows (Final) and GIS <br />project definitions — Psomes will prepare <br />implementation project definitions that address <br />strategic initiatives requirements and goals. <br />The project definition approach provides a <br />method for plan Implementation that enables <br />incremental results for each project, facilitates <br />prioritization, and budgeting. Each project will <br />be presented in a common format to simplify <br />comparative review. Psornas will also finalize <br />the GIS workflow diagrams to be included in <br />the implementation plan. <br />Contents of the project descriptions Include: <br />Project title and objective <br />Scope of work <br />Deliverables <br />* Sponsors and stakeholders <br />* Resource needs <br />Planning budget <br />Planning schedule <br />5.2 Develop implementation plan document <br />— Psomas will develop the final implementation <br />plan that includes the following sections: <br />* Executive summary — design for executive <br />management audience <br />* Project overview — purpose, audience, uses <br />of the plan <br />Needs assessment summary — key findings <br />from the needs assessment phase <br />Strategic GIS initiatives — list of <br />recommended GIS initiative <br />GIS system recommendation — <br />summary of GIS technology and system <br />recommendations <br />Recommended Implementation projects — <br />recommend GIS projects and Its definition <br />Implementation road map — phase <br />sequencing, implementation schedule, and <br />fiscal projection <br />Appendices -- include supporting documents, <br />workflow diagrams, etc. <br />5.3 Facilitate final plan presentation — <br />Psomas will present the final Implementation <br />plan to key stakeholder groups.
