EXAMPLES OF PURCHASE PRICE DIFFERENTIAL <br />PAYMENT COMPUTATION: <br />Assume that the City purchases your property for $98,000. After a <br />thorough study of available, decent, safe and sanitary dwellings on <br />the open market, the City determines that a comparable <br />replacement property will cost you $100,000. If your purchase price <br />is $100,000, you will receive $2,000 (see Example A). <br />If your actual purchase price is more than $100,000, you pay the <br />difference (see Example B).
