Formation of the Santa Ana Workforce Development <br />Board and Appointment of Members <br />May 17, 2016 <br />Page 3 <br />Attached is a listing of nominees representing the respective categories for appointment (Exhibit <br />1). Upon adoption of the resolution and appointment of members to the WDB, staff is required to <br />submit the attached Local Workforce Development Board Recertification Request (Exhibit 2) to <br />be signed by the Mayor and workforce board chair. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval assists the City in meeting Goal #2 - (Youth, Education, Recreation), Objective #4 <br />(Partner with groups and organization to promote education, senior services, job training and <br />development for all Santa Ana residents). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Robert C.
