Section 7 <br />SECTIO11 7.0 OTAER CEQA CONS I DERATIORIS <br />7.1 Growth Inducing impacts <br />Pursuant to Sections 15126(d) and 15126.2(d) of the CEQA Guidelines, this <br />section evaluates if the project has the potential to foster economic or population <br />growth, or the construction of additional housing, either directly or indirectly, in <br />the Surrounding environment. Specifically, the following questions Would be <br />evaluated to determine potential growth inducing impacts associated with the <br />implementation of the Mid Basin Centennial Park Injection Well Project. <br />Would the project remove obstacles to growth through the construction or <br />extension of major infrastructure facilities that do not presently exist in the <br />project area, or through changes in existing regulations pertaining to land <br />development? <br />Would the project result in the need to expand one or more public services <br />to maintain desired levels of service? <br />Would the project encourage or facilitate economic effects that could <br />result in other activities that could significantly affect the environment? <br />Would approval of the project involve some precedent setting action that <br />could encourage and facilitate other activities that could significantly affect <br />the environment? <br />Would the project remove obstacles to growth through the construction or <br />extension of major infrastructure facilities that do not presently exist In the <br />project area, or through changes in existing regulations pertaining to land <br />development? <br />The construction and operation of the Mid Basin Centennial Park Injection Well <br />Project would not involve the construction of new infrastructure or the extension <br />of existing infrastructure to facilitate new construction or growth in the project <br />area. The additional groundwater supplies generated from the project would <br />meet existing and planned groundwater needs within OCWD service area. <br />Would the project result in the need to expand one or more public services <br />to maintain desired levels of service? <br />The operation of the Mid Basin Centennial Park Injection Well Project would not <br />result in the need to expand existing levels of public services over current levels <br />of demand.
