Section 1 <br />SECTION 1.0 PURPOSE <br />In compliance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Public Resources Code Section 21000 et seq. and the CEQA Guidelines, the Orange <br />County Water District (OCWD) has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report <br />(Draft EIR) for the Mid Basin Centennial Park Injection Well Project (State <br />Clearinghouse No. 2015061055). The Draft EIR was circulated for public review from <br />February 3, 2016 to March 18, 2016. During the public review period, comments were <br />received on the Draft EIR and have been addresses in the Mid Basin Centennial Park <br />Draft EIR Response to Comment Document. Section 2.0 of the Response to Comment <br />Document identifies clarifications to the Draft EIR that were identified during ther public <br />review period.
