INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED <br />�T WORK MAY PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />1?ATfi SECOND AMENDMENT T'O EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT <br />s(t}I JUL 2 2 20,16 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />A- 2014 - 088 -021 B <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, made and entered into this <br />day of , 2015, by and between the Santa Ana Police Department ( "Subrecipient ") and the City of Santa <br />Ana, a charter city End murdcipal corporation of the State of Califo.rma ( "City "). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City and Subrecipient entered into that certain Emergency Solutions Grant Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the City of Santa Ana and the Santa Ana Police Department dated July 1, 2014 (Agreement <br />#A- 2014.088 -021), for Subrecipient to receive Emergency Solutions Grant 'F'unds (ESG) in the amount of <br />$40,507.00 for the operation of an emergency shelter program for the homeless. <br />_. B. The City and Subreoipient entered into an Amendment to Emergency Solutions Grant Memorandum of <br />U Understanding dated January 1, 2015 (Agreement #A- 2014 - 088- 021A), for Subrecipient to receive an increased <br />grant amount of $3,576.00 from prior year funding that was not able to be expended by other subrecipients <br />within the federally mandated 24- month period. The original Memorandum of Understanding and this <br />Amendment shall collectively hereinafter be referred to as "said Agreement." <br />C. The parties hereto now desire to amend said Agreement to extend the term of the grant until June 1; <br />2016, to allow the Subrecipient additional time to spend its grant award. This additional time is still within the <br />federally mandated 24 -month period in which the Subrecipient must spend the grant award. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do <br />hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Section 2, Term of MOU, shall be amended to read as follows, "Subrecipient shall provide its services under <br />this MOU commeneing on July 1, 2014 through June 1, 2016.,, <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full <br />force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to said Agreement the date <br />and year first above written. <br />ATTEST; C .
