PROJECT SUBMITTALS <br />Add; Electronic Submittal Platform and Procedure <br />It is the contractor's responsibility and to transmit all shop drawings, data submittals, and <br />project closeout documentation via the City's electronic platform. The general contractor will <br />be required to attend training session/s and or obtain the necessary training on the usage <br />and procedures for all transmittal documentation. <br />a. Submittal Preparation - Contractor may use any or all of the following options: <br />i. Subcontractors and Suppliers provide electronic (PDF) submittals to <br />Contractor via the Submittal Exchange website. <br />ii. Subcontractors and Suppliers provide paper submittals to General <br />Contractor who electronically scans and converts to PDF format. <br />IT Subcontractors and Suppliers provide paper submittals to Scanning <br />Service which electronically scans and converts to PDF format. <br />b. Contractor shall review and apply electronic stamp certifying that the submittal <br />complies with the requirements of the Contract Documents including verification <br />of manufacturer / product, dimensions and coordination of information with other <br />parts of the work. <br />c. Contractor shall transmit each submittal to City using the Submittal Exchange <br />website, www.submittalexchange.com. <br />d. Engineer review comments will be made available on the Submittal Exchange <br />website for downloading. Contractor will receive email notice of completed <br />review. <br />e.
