A R <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />OCTOBER 18, 2016 <br />TITLE; <br />EXECUTION OF REVISED ADMINISTERING <br />AGENCY -STATE MASTER AGREEMENT NO. <br />12- 5063F15 TO SECURE FEDERAL -AID <br />GRANT FUNDS <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, 1G} <br />- `� �11 &i::� 11-�' <br />CITY MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />Q As Recommended <br />Q As Amended <br />Q Ordinance on 1e` Reading <br />Q Ordinance on god Reading <br />Q Implementing Resolution <br />Q Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />PILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a revised Administering Agency -State <br />Master Agreement No. 12- 50631715 for Federal -Aid Projects with the State of California Department of <br />Transportation, subject to non- substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City has an existing Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 12 -5063R for <br />Federal -Aid Projects with the California Department of Transportation ( Caltrans). On August 15, <br />2016, Caltrans presented the City with a revised Master Agreement 12- 5063F15 to incorporate <br />various changes in regulations and policies. Upon award of federal -aid grants for specific <br />projects, a program supplement agreement is required to secure those funds and receive <br />reimbursements, but that can only be done with an updated Master Agreement in place. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy G (develop and implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in <br />coordination with the Community Investment and Deferred Maintenance Plans). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />25F -1 <br />
