Eanta Ana General Plan Update <br />Community • } <br />Executive Summary r <br />I kMita IIIIlell 0610 <br />This Community Outreach Executive Summary represents the first step in updating Santa Ana's <br />General Plan to guide its future. The City of Santa Ana has reached out to residents, local <br />leaders, and stakeholders to participate in the development of a Shared Vision for the future of <br />Santa Ana. Thanks to the efforts of over 485 individuals, this Executive Summary highlights the <br />community's concerns, hopes, and vision for the future of Santa Ana. <br />These community outreach efforts began in November 2015 with a kick off meeting and were <br />followed up with one -on -one meetings with City Councilmembers. As of October 18, 2016, the <br />City of Santa Ana conducted a total of 40 meetings in support of these outreach efforts. <br />Community workshops were held with local service organizations, youth representatives, <br />seniors, the business community, and neighborhood leaders.
