Transportation Center, 1000 E. Santa Ana Blvd., shall provide and/or coordinate WIOA services to <br />individuals, providing them with the necessary skills to participate in building a world-class <br />workforce in Santa Ana. <br />Services and referrals provided at the Santa Ana W/O/R/K Center may include, but are not limited to, <br />the following: <br />Basic Career Services: <br />1. Eligibility Determination <br />2. Outreach, intake, and orientation to information and services <br />3. Initial assessment of skill levels including literacy, numeracy, and English proficiency; and <br />aptitudes, abilities and support service needs <br />4. Labor exchange services - Job Search and placement assistance and career counseling including <br />Info on in -demand industry sectors and occupations Info on nontraditional employment. <br />5. Recruitment and other business services on behalf of employers <br />6. Provision of referrals to coordination of activities with other services including those within the <br />one stop and other workforce development programs <br />7. Provision of workforce and labor market employment statistics info including: <br />a) Job vacancy listings in labor market areas <br />b) Info on job skills needed to obtain the vacant jobs <br />c) Info relating to in -demand occupations including earnings, and opportunities for <br />advancement <br />8. Provision of performance and program cost info on the ETPL eligible programs by program and <br />type of provider <br />9. Provision of info in understandable formats and languages about performance against <br />performance accountability measures <br />10. Provision of regarding support services <br />11. Provision of info and assistance in filing UI claims <br />12. Assistance in establishing eligibility for programs of financial aid assistance for training and <br />education programs not funded through WIOA <br />Individualized Career Services: <br />1. Comprehensive and specialized assessment of skill levels and service needs including: <br />1. Diagnostic testing and other assessment tools <br />2. In-depth interview and evaluation to determine barriers and goals <br />2. Development of IEP to identify goals, objectives, and services <br />3. Group Counseling <br />4. Individual Counseling <br />Career Planning <br />6. Short-term pre -vocational services including development of learning skills, communication skills <br />and other soft skills to prepare individuals for employment or training <br />7. Internships and work experiences that are linked to careers <br />8. Workforce preparation activities including basic academic and obtaining other skills necessary for <br />successful transition into postsecondary education, training or employment <br />9. Financial literacy services <br />10. Out -of -area job search assistance and relocation assistance <br />11. English language acquisition and integrated education and training program <br />
