INSURANCE NQT ON FILE <br />Nf()P IAA T pROCEEMCOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT UNDER A-2012-019-03 <br />cL511KOF60UNCIL THE WORKEORC9'I'b4VESTMENTACT <br />7 BATE: 9 /3 d/�j (H-113 TECHNICAL SKILLS GRANT) <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT, made and entered into this t' -'day of 2016, by and between <br />South Orange County Community College District dba Saddleback College, Rapid Tech ("CONTRACTOR") and <br />the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution <br />and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City and CONTRACTOR entered into that certain Agreement on February 6, 2012 (#A-2012-019) <br />("said Agreement") for CONTRACTOR to provide software, internship development, a summer engineering <br />institute program, and collaborate with the design and implementation of the Core Engineering Bridge Curriculum <br />for the H -1B Technical Skills Training Grant. <br />B. The parties hereto entered into a First Amendment to said Agreement on August 4, 2014 (#A-2012-019-01) <br />to decrease the funds to CONTRACTOR by eighty-nine thousand, four -hundred dollars ($89,400.00). <br />Cal <br />C. The parties hereto now desire to amend said Agreement and Exhibit E to again reduce the CONTRACTOR's <br />funding amount. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do <br />hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Section II. A. "CITY'S OBLIGATIONS" shall be amended to decrease funds to CONTRACTOR by <br />Forty -Three Thousand, One -Hundred Dollars ($43,100.00), so that the total amount of funds to <br />CONTRACTOR under said Agreement, as amended, shall not exceed One -Hundred and Eighty -Four Thousand, <br />One -Hundred Dollars ($184,100.00). An updated and revised Budget is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />as Exhibit E. Additionally, an updated Saddleback College 132E Rapid Tech Budget Narrative is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein as Exhibit F. <br />2.
