GREAT WESTERN RECLAMATION <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION/TITLE: Division President <br /> REPORTS TO: Region Vice President <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> The Division President is ultimately responsible for all of the division's activities and <br /> operating results. Most of this responsibility is delegated to the department heads for <br /> day-to-day management, but the Division President should give particular attention to the <br /> following: <br /> • Providing leadership and motivation in order to set the tone <br /> for the division. <br /> • Meeting financial objectives and attending the monthly MOR <br /> meeting. <br /> • Community relations. <br /> • All other duties designated in the Corporate PAD manual. <br /> • Political awareness. <br /> WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • BA Degree or higher in Business Administration or equivalent <br /> is desirable. <br /> • Outstanding communications skills with comparable people <br /> skills. <br /> • Skills in supervision, planning, coordination, budget <br /> preparation, contract negotiations and human, community and <br /> labor relations. <br /> • At least eight years progressive experience in the solid waste <br /> industry or comparable is desirable. <br /> • Outstanding knowledge of the solid waste industry, <br /> maintenance, WMI services operations, safety programs, <br /> equipment specifications, budget preparation and management, <br /> contract negotiations, sales, human and labor relations and <br /> the Corporate PAP manual. <br />
