SUMMARY OF EMERGENCY PLAN <br /> Great Western Reclamation's Emergency Plan outlines clear, detailed responses for <br /> emergencies that may occur "internally" at a Great Western facility, as well as "externally" <br /> in the City and requiring action on the part of Great Western. <br /> The plan covers the two basic areas of administrative activities, and specific incidents. <br /> The administrative activities section includes detailed discussion of the following <br /> components: <br /> 1. Description of the facility <br /> 2. Inventory of critical areas, contractor resources, employee skills, vital records <br /> 3. Alternate locations <br /> 4. Preparatory Activities (Communications,Training, Emergency Organization) <br /> 5. Response Activities <br /> 6. Personnel Movement <br /> 7. Medical Emergencies <br /> 8. Recovery (personnel support, reporting) <br /> In the specific incidents section, response activities for the following potential <br /> emergencies are described: <br /> 1. Fires <br /> 2. Spills/Release/Emissions <br /> 3. Natural Disasters (earthquakes, floods, tornados, hurricanes) <br /> 4. Bomb threats <br /> 5. Demonstrations/strikes <br /> 6. Systems-related emergencies <br /> For each of the potential specific incidents, the emergency response plan includes <br /> information and instructions regarding preventive or preparatory activities, training and <br /> education, situation analysis, monitoring and reporting, shelter, and "after the event" <br /> instructions.
