EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF SANTA AIWA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SECURITY GUARD SERVICES AT VARIOUS <br />CITY FACILITIES <br />GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1, General Conditions <br />Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, uniforms, and equipment in <br />accordance with the provisions, terms and conditions set forth in this RFP, <br />2, License and Permits <br />Contractor and assigned porsonnel shall possess all licenses and permits required b the <br />California Departmeat.of Consumor Affairs, Bureau of Security. and.Staffing <br />requirements for each site are provided in Exhibit B Staffing Schedules. <br />3. Security Guard Minimum Qualifications <br />City staff will review the qualifications of the guards assigned to the respective sitos. The <br />City rasorves the right to disapprove Contractor personnel assigned to this contract. The <br />Contractor will remove and replace immediately any personnel deemed unacceptable to <br />the Contract Manager. <br />Security guards are required to meet the mlohnum qualifications listed below prior to <br />their iniCl l assignment, Contractor shall ensure that written documentation of the criteria <br />listed below of all security guards assigned ander the provisions of this contract are kept <br />on file at Contractor's place of business. Failure to do so may result in the termination of <br />the contract: and subsidiary contracts. <br />(a) Ki ducallon- Guards must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent <br />and must have the ability to speak, read, and write the English language, <br />understand and carry out oral and written directions, think and act quieldy and <br />City of Santa Ana Unarmarl Security Guard Services RFP <br />Page 16 <br />
