This is to encourage attendance so that youth may <br />achieve their educational goals, <br />Basic Skills Deficient BSD) Youth: <br />WIOA participants who at time of enrolment are BSD will receive weekly tutoring in <br />Math and/or Literacy. To encourage these participants, the weekly tutoring sessions will <br />count towards their "stipend Period" as well as "hourly rate". Thus, essentially <br />participants will get paid for committing to their weekly tutoring schedule. This <br />Incentive will aid in literacy, numeracy gain of each client, <br />Empl moment: <br />In order to motivate youth to complete their employment goals we encourage <br />participants will be eligible to receive a $50 check incentive in form of check in if they <br />meet one of the following goals and provide substantial proof: <br />• Turn in application for a job and get an interview <br />• Obtain employment <br />• Employed for 3 consecutive months <br />For youth in Follow up: <br />• Turn In application for a job and get an interview: $25 check Incentive <br />Obtain employment: $50 check Incentive <br />For each quarter employed: $50 check incentive <br />Post-Secondarv_Education: <br />Participants are encouraged to complete their goals toward post -secondary education <br />so that they may advance in their careers and increase their chances of earning higher <br />hourly wages, Participants will be eligible for a $100 check incentive if they have <br />achieved one of the following goals toward postsecondary education. <br />* Obtain Credentials such as: Associates Degree or Certification <br />+ Registering for classes for spring or fall semester and FAFSA/Dream Act <br />Application <br />For youth in Follow up: <br />• Registering for Fall or Spring classes: $25 check Incentive <br />• Obtaining a Credential: $25 check incentive <br />25B-51 <br />
