Fifth Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703 <br />APN: 007-110-17 <br />Dear Owner: <br />The City Council of the City of Santa Ana ("City") intends to consider the adoption of a <br />Resolution of Necessity on June 6, 2017, which if adopted, will authorize the City to acquire by <br />eminent domain the real property described in this letter for the Orange County Transportation <br />Authority ("OCTA") and the City of Santa Ana joint project that proposes to construct a modem <br />streetcar system connecting the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center to Harbor Boulevard <br />and Westminster Avenue in the City of Garden Grove ("Project"). A legal description and map <br />of the real property to be acquired is enclosed with this Notice as Exhibit "A" (the "subject <br />property"). <br />Please take notice that the City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting to be held on June 6, <br />2017, at 5:45 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92702, will hold a hearing on whether a <br />Resolution of Necessity should be adopted, as required by California Code of Civil Procedure § <br />1245.220, for the commencement of an eminent domain proceeding to acquire fee title to the <br />subject property. <br />You have the right to appear and be heard before the City Council at the above scheduled <br />hearing on the following matters and issues, and to have the City Council give judicious <br />consideration to your testimony prior to deciding whether or not to adopt the proposed <br />Resolution of Necessity: <br />75E-85 <br />
