P ANA
2
e
Dear Mayor Pulidoand City Counc; ',Members, ,~
a BWldinq 4,mlthy
I, l
_TPl an le ifC (resident's name), ask the City to
not sell the empty land parcels, and support the formation of a Community Land Trust (CLT)
in Santa Ana. The City's publically owned land is an invaluable resource to increase
opportunity and wellbeing for Santa Ana families.
The community land trust will provide space for parks, affordable housing, and other
community benefits that are direly needed in Santa Ana, including commercial spaces. It will
significantly improve the duality of life for many low-income and working families in the
city. It will exemplify community -led development and re-establish the City's leadership in
this respect.
I strongly believe in the principles of inclusion, transparency, accountability, and civic
participation of residents in our community of Santa Ana; the Santa Ana Community Land
Trust will powerfully represent these values.
The City must continue to deepen its commitment to working alongside the community in the
development process, to ensure that the community's needs are being met; a Community
Land Trust represents a key opportunity to do this.
Sincerely
& j A A 1: ' , L
Supporter o the San a A ommunity Land Trust
be rl
, Address, City, State, Zip Code
—21n( 1 0 hd16 / ,
Phone Number, Email
In Santa Ana I: ' oLive oStudy ;Work ❑Play
Supporting Organizations: Santa Ana Building Healthy Communities (SABHC), Latino
Health Access (LHA), Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible
Development (OCCORD), The Kennedy Commission, KidWorks, El Centro Cultural de
Mexico, Santa Ana Collaborative for Responsible Development (SACReD), Clergy and Laity
United for Economic Justice (CLUE), Santa Ana Active Streets (SAAS)
