WnEN <br />ilv"RANCE NOT ON FILE N-2014091-001 <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: , JUN 19 2017 <br />O: SAPD ( ) AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />Fiscal THIS AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into on May <br />8, 201'7 by and between VCA Animal hospitals, -Inc., a California corporation {hereinafter <br />"Consultant"}, formerly known as YORBA REGIONAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL and the <br />City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under <br />the Constitution and laws of the State of California (hereinafter "City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement # N-2014-091, dated July 1, 2014, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") with a consultant having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />providing medical services including emergency medical car to police K -9s. <br />B. On November 29, 2016, YORBA REGIONAL ANIMAL HOSPITAL was acquired by <br />VCA ANIMAL HOSPITALS, INC. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to <br />the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />The Consultant Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and Yorba <br />Regional Animal Hospital will now be between the City of Santa Ana and VCA <br />Animal Hospitals, Inc. <br />Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREFOR, the Parties hereto have executed the First Amendment to <br />Agreement on the date and year fust above written. <br />ATTEST: <br />MARTA D.
