One Broadway Plaza represents a new, significantly more efficient, increased valuation
of land usage. Santa Ana is "available -land challenged" and must therefore maximize per
square footage return on investment to property owners and developers if the city is to
achieve the level of job and per capita income growth that will support local families in
their pursuit of the American dream.
Santa Ana is a city of approximately 350,000 residents, the 51" largest city in the nation.
Yet, in the last decade, our city ranked 99h in per capita income growth of the 100 largest
cities in the nation, having dropped 14% during that time. If the city is to succeed in
adequately serving its resident population, it must aggressively support economic
opportunities like that represented in this project now before you.
Economic vibrancy and livability will only come from long-term, sustainable, economic
growth that comes from the business marketplace. Consequently, One Broadway Plaza
deserves your favorable vote.
We urge your approval.
Sincerely,
7$W9A91tr, A"4
Mike Weisman Michael Metzler
Chairman of the Board President & Chief Executive Officer
