Dear Mr. Harrah: <br />For years and years Santa Ana has needed an opportunity to be the <br />center of Orange County, the most beautiful county in the world. <br />You are making a proposal to place the mostb beautiful jewel in <br />the heart of this city. I don't,know if you will get all the <br />fortune 500 companies you want, I don't know if traffic is <br />going to togx be a problem. What I do know is that every <br />neighborhood in this city should be giving yhou $200,000 for' <br />the excitement generated at your great proposal. It never <br />occurred to me that there would be any opposition to this --and <br />hope all that opposition turns to the joy and excitement I feel <br />at the opportunity and possibiliities you are creating, as if your <br />plan works --you are putting $10,000,000 a year'into the population <br />of Santa ana through jobs, not to mention the ambiance of the beautiful <br />high rise restaurant, and placing this crystal edifice into the <br />sky for all to see. Having lived in Santa Ana for 57 years, you <br />are making Santa Ana's future far better than anyone ever expected. <br />Each time a great deed is done, whether for self -profit, whether just <br />out of being able to spend life at that glorious game of Monopoly, <br />or whetgher you m� just want to make your own life more enjoyable than <br />anyne else's, there is always a God Factor invo'lved.
