CITY MANAGER'S COMMENTS - None <br />90B. CITY COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Tinajero: <br />• Reported that schools are back in session; great opening day; thanked <br />police officers and all for efforts; <br />• Recognized partnership between Santa Ana College and Santa Ana Unified <br />School District in developing Advance Learning Academy; <br />• Encouraged all to work with Santa Ana College on Adult Learning Center at <br />Centennial Park; and <br />• Requested adjournment in memory of Hortencia Urquiza Gutierrez. <br />Councilmember Solorio: <br />• Invited all to attend the upcoming Connect to Council event on August 30th at <br />Rancho Community College District office; <br />• Thanked SEIU and all who participated in recent event; important to work <br />together on revenue generating ideas. <br />Councilmember Villegas: <br />• Thanked staff efforts in organizing successful talent show. <br />Councilmember Benavides: <br />• Thanked speakers; <br />• Encouraged all to continue to support our local businesses. <br />Mayor Pulido <br />• Adjourned meeting in memory of Retired SAPD Motor Officer Ron Moreno, <br />Hortencia Urquiza Gutierrez, and Jerry Clay Ayres. <br />Reconvened to the Closed Session Meeting at 9:24 p.m. Closed Session adjourned with no <br />reportable action. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 3- AUGUST 15, 2017 <br />1 OA -37 <br />
