Diagnostic Labs and Radiology is capable of responding to the jail to provide service and is <br />capable of providing x-ray study, technical component, radiologist interpretation, transcription and <br />delivery on the same day when necessary. <br />Diagnostic Labs and Radiology <br />NaphCare will continue to use Diagnostic Laboratories and Radiology to provide mobile X-ray services. <br />For the past two years, NaphCare has successfully partnered with Diagnostic Laboratories and Radiology <br />for the purpose of this contract. Diagnostic Labs and Radiology is dedicated to continuing a <br />partnership with NaphCare in our shared interest to meet the radiological needs of the Santa Ana Jail <br />inmates. <br />S. Ophthalmology services. This service will be available on an as -needed basis and billed one flat rate per <br />patient visit. <br />San Pedro Eye Care <br />With the experience of Board Certified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists, and the equipment <br />necessary to provide treatment, San Pedro Eye Care offers a number of cutting-edge vision care services <br />and products for vision correction procedures and surgeries. San Pedro Eye Care will continue to <br />partner with NaphCare to provide eyewear and eye care services to the offenders at the Santa Ana <br />Jail. A signed letter of intent is included in the Appendix. <br />6. OB -GYN services. This service will be available on an as -needed basis and billed one flat rate per patient <br />visit. <br />NaphCare will continue to utilize the Anaheim Global Medical Center (AGMC) for OB/GYN <br />services. The inmates at the SAJ will continue to access the OB/GYN services offered through Delivery <br />Land at AGMC. <br />7. Emergency Psychiatric Crisis Intervention and Evaluation. This service will be on an as -needed basis for <br />inmate in psychiatric distress, i.e. severe depression (suicidal ideation) and psychotic disorders <br />(schizophrenia). Upon completion of evaluation, a finding and suggested disposition for safe care of the <br />inmate will be provided. Services will be provided with a response time of 30-45 minutes and will be <br />billed one flat rate per visit. <br />The PET Team comes onsite for those patients that do not stay onsite more than 12 hours. They are <br />evaluated and it is determined if the patient can be released out of custody or needs to be 5150 hold at <br />a hospital for further evaluation. Contracted patients are evaluated onsite by NaphCare's Psychiatrist <br />and are sent to Anaheim Global for further evaluation if the patient needs emergency psychiatric crisis <br />intervention and evaluation offsite. <br />8. Billing services for off-site emergency medical care. NaphCare will provide billing services, which <br />include a complete accounting of all services performed in addition to a detailed report of the cost of <br />such services. Billing services will include a monthly administrative fee.
