NaphCare will ensure that all preferred providers recruited are fully credentialed. Please see Section G, <br />#2 for a detailed description of NaphCare's credentialing process. <br />3. Contracts for the preferred provider network will be between the health care provider and NaphCare. <br />4. To support the delivery of comprehensive health services, the preferred provider network will include <br />the following medical specialty services/providers: <br />a. A hospital facility to provide treatment forthose inmates requiring medical/surgical emergency <br />services (e.g. inpatient and outpatient health care services). <br />NAPHCAKE'S HOSPITAL NETWORKS FOR THE SAJ <br />NaphCare is an experienced provider and administrator of off -site care and preferred provider <br />networks. Our experienced network management department focuses on development that is <br />based on partnerships with the community's finest hospitals, balancing proximity to the Jails <br />and a wide range of available medical services. <br />Since serving as the healthcare service providerfor the City of Santa Ana, we have worked <br />diligently to establish relationships with the providers below to provide emergency and off -site <br />care to SAJ inmates. <br />1. KPC Healthcare, Inc. (KPC Health) <br />KPC Health has successfully established a group KPC <br />of integrated healthcare delivery systems Healthcare, Inc. <br />consisting of acute care hospitals, Independent <br />Physicians Associations (IPAs), medical groups, urgent care facilities, and various fully <br />integrated multi -specialty medical facilities throughout the western United States. Two of <br />KPC Health's acute care facilities, Anaheim Global Medical Center (AGMC) and Orange <br />County Global Medical Center (OCGMC) have provided quality, professional, and <br />compassionate healthcare services to the Orange County community for decades. <br />AGMC, formerly Western Medical Center Anaheim, is a 189-bed medical center located less <br />than 7 miles from the Santa Ana Jail. In addition to its cardiac institute, inpatient, <br />outpatient, surgical, maternity, and behavioral services, AGMC has a 24-hour full service <br />emergency department designated as a cardiac receiving center; and the hospital has <br />partnered with CEP America to continue to improve emergency department wait times. The <br />Behavioral Health program at Anaheim Global Medical Center provides behavioral health <br />services for emotional and behavioral health illnesses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar <br />disorder, and chemical dependency related disorders. Delivery Land is AGMC's newest and <br />most exciting addition to their comprehensive maternal child health services. The inmates <br />at the SAJ will continue to access the OB/GYN services offered through Delivery Land at <br />AGMC.
