_ Commercial Real Estate Services <br />FEW® SSOCIA"IES <br />CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br />This contract represents the agreement between Fewel & Associates and City of Santa Ana, (the <br />Client). <br />1. Fewel & Associates agrees to provide an Appraisal Report of the multi -family residential land <br />located at 1405 French Street, Santa Ana, California. Attached to this contract is a copy of the <br />"Scope of Work," Appraisal Certification," and "Contingent and Limiting Conditions" that will <br />apply to the analysis. <br />2. Fewel & Associates understands that the appraisal is being requested by the Client in connection <br />with the "purpose and intended use" contained in the cover letter of this contract. <br />Fewel & Associates agrees to deliver two original copies and one electronic copy of the report <br />within three to four weeks of the commencement date for the appraisal fee of $4,500.00. We can use <br />a fax or email copy of this executed contract for the commencement date, as long as we receive the <br />contract with your original signature and the requested submission items (see attached checklist) <br />necessary to complete the appraisal within three to four working days thereafter. As soon as you <br />return a signed copy of this contract to us, ajob number will be assigned to your appraisal and your <br />job will be logged on our calendar. Please note that any delay in our receipt of these items may <br />postpone the delivery date. Please call if you foresee any problems in obtaining the listed items. The <br />fee reflects the estimated time that will be required to complete the appraisal and is in no way <br />connected with any value to be estimated. The Client agrees to pay Fewel & Associates $4,500.00 <br />within 30 days of receipt of the final report. <br />3. In addition to the "appraisal fee" as quoted in Paragraph 42, additional billing will be charged at <br />the rate of $150.00 per hour, portal to portal, for additional meetings or conferences requested by the <br />client or those meetings or conferences with the client's attorney or other agent. <br />4. In the event Fewel & Associates is subpoenaed or otherwise required to give testimony or to <br />attend any public or private hearing as a result of having prepared this report, or attend any <br />conferences pertaining thereto, the Client agrees to pay Fewel & Associates $250.00 per hour, portal <br />to portal, for attendance or testimony required. <br />5. It is farther agreed and understood that if any portion of the compensation or costs due Fewel & <br />Associates becomes delinquent, The Client will pay a rebilling charge of $15.00 or 1.5% per month <br />(whichever is greater) from the due date Lentil paid, and further agrees to pay all costs of collection <br />thereof, including reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, etc. <br />129 W.
