TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />MEETING AND RECONVENED WITH SAME MEMBERS PRESENT AT 9:53 P.M <br />COMMENTS <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />• Dale Helvig, Chairman of North Santa Ana Preservation Alliance, opposed to rezoning <br />and any general plan amendments for the 2525 Main residential development; opined <br />rezoning property adjacent to residential zoning that would allow parking structure is <br />not appropriate land use. <br />• Patty Maize, resident of Park Santiago, in favor of no rezoning or apartments, and <br />opined that this is the wrong project for this site. <br />• Cesar Hernandez, Vice President of Express Transportation Systems, addressed <br />Mayor Pulido as to open positions on the Orange County Transportation Authority <br />(OCTA) Special Needs Committee and expressed desire to fill position. <br />o Mayor Pulido noted that OCTA is a separate organization, but commit to <br />nominating to said committee. <br />• Marilyn Fuller, expressed opposition to 2525 Main residential project and urged City <br />Council to keep zoning the same. <br />• Ilya Tseglin, requested assistance in removing his son from the Ward of the State. <br />• Robert Tseglin, echoed comments by his father, Ilya. <br />o Councilmember Solorio, commented that City Council has no jurisdiction, but <br />asked City Manager to follow up with the Tseglin's to find a more appropriate <br />body that may be able to assist them. <br />90A.
