EXHIBIT A
Community Benefit and Sustainable Business Practices Plan
Jason Lilly Association, DBA Kannabis Works
Community -Based Experience
In 2010, Jason Lilly started LiveFit Revolution, a 501 c3 non-profit organization based in
Santa Ana. LiveFit Revolution's mission was to help the obese community by providing
free -of -charge workouts and free nutrition plans with items they could purchase at their
local supermarket.
They solicited local residents looking to lose weight and put them through a 12 -week
program, 100% free. The results were incredible. By filming the workouts and putting
them online, over 10,000 people joined the program nationally. They also worked
directly with Northgate Supermarkets in Santa Ana, providing educational supermarket
tours to show the importance of looking at both the nutritional facts and ingredient lists
of labels before selecting a product.
Community Service Commitment
As a long-standing member of SACA (Santa Ana Cannabis Association), we will be part
of SACA's initiative to work with the Santa Ana Unified School District to help fund
youth diversion programs and other after-school programs. That project is already
being discussed with school board members.
In addition to our efforts as part of SACH, we will also looking for opportunities for our
employees to give back to the community through volunteering at local soup kitchens,
shelters, and participating in beautification projects in the city of Santa Ana.
Sustainable Business Practices
• Installed top-rated energy efficient high voltage heating and cooling system
• LED lighting throughout interior, with dimmable and light -harvesting outlets
• LED lighting in parking lot and exterior
• Extra insulation around building envelope
• Water efficient bathroom and kitchen appliances
• Low -flow toilets with water efficient flushing options
• White roof (Title 24 energy compliant)
• Putting together a plan to transition to solar energy by 2019
• Using recycled product packaging materials whenever possible
• Incentivizing patients to return used packaging
