This house was originally <br />constructed in 1923, and was valued at approximately $4,000, according to the original building permit. While there is no <br />architect or contractor in the original building permit, George Finch was listed as the owner at the time of construction. <br />George was a painter, carpenter, and gardener, and according to city directories, lived at the property with his wife Addie C. <br />Finch through at least 1956. According to city directories, the next recorded occupant is listed as Ray Samuel Fink, who <br />moved to the property some time before 1962.
