Commissioner Murashie <br />nominated Vice Chairperson Schaefer as Vice Chairperson and the nomination was <br />accepted. Ms. Neal proceeded to <br />provide a general update on the project adding the item will come to the Commission in <br />order to receive a Certificate of Appropriateness. Commissioner Rush requested St. <br />Joseph Health install a plaque on the building recognizing the significant history of the <br />building. <br />COMMENTS <br />STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Acting Executive Director Neal: <br />Announced Hally Soboleske retired after working for the city for almost 20 years. <br />Announced the tentatively scheduled special meetings for September 28 and October <br />19 in order to address the backlog of applications for designation due to the elimination <br />of the fee waiver and reduction. <br />o Principal Planner Carvajal noted the continued success of the Historic <br />Resources program and uptick in application activity with Mr. Orozco assisting in <br />processing.
