This
house was originally constructed in 1924, and was valued at approximately $5,000, according to the original building permit.
The first listed owner of the property is Roy Russell, who subdivided the Floral Park neighborhood in the 1920s and 1930s,
and who likely never actually resided in the property. According to city directories the first recorded occupant is Otto A.
Jacobs, a well-known criminal attorney in Orange County. Jacobs was partner of the law firm of Head, Wellington, & Jacobs
while he resided at the property. The next recorded occupant is Lytel D. Larsen, who sold real estate, and who lived in the
property during the 1940s. The 1950 city directory lists Sam Matasar as the occupant, Matasar was a salesman. In 1962,
E.R.
