Memorial Park Baseball Fields
My name Is Robert Torres a coach for Memorial Park Little League also a former player from 1981-
1990. Would like to ask city to address the concerns of league board members so my children can
have good memories of playing in that park. The mound of field 4 for example is horrible a young
player can easily twist his or her ankle as well as being a tripping hazard. The lights need attention as
well there are many dark spots on the fields which are hazards from fly balls. I have lived In the
neighborhood for 42 years and when I was young the baseball fields where immaculate it would be a
shame to let them go. Some day I would like my kids to coach they're children there on those fields as
well. They are already established fields just need more attention to give our kids nice fields to play
on so please dont take away funding and help make them better. Thank You
Mr. Robert Torres
