Dear Ms Huizar and Council Members:
We will deliver Monday July 2, our check for the payment of the "Assessment' made against the above
address. We were unaware of this "Assessment' and do hereby protest it and also demand supporting
documentation and an itemization of this $2,619.25.
We have been working tirelessly with the city, on the building since the building was damaged on January 30 of
this year. We have submitted submitted 3 sets of plans to the city. We have resolved all issues with SAM and
have repaired nearly all of the 29 Items listed in the ORDER TO REPAIR OF ABATE. We are currently
negotiation with potential tenants regarding The Business License and C of O requirements as we await
approval of our latest set of plans.
We do challenge the decision to levy this assessment. We are not certain of what issues to raise since we were
unaware of this until I recovered your undated letter from the post office last night.
I have been in a 24 hour relicensing seminar until late last night and the City is closed today, Friday.
