Telecommunication Facilities in Public Right-of-way (PROW) Ordinance
Adopted in 2011

Created in response to Macro (large) Cell installations in PROW
o
Approximately 10 Macro Cells in PROW
170 Macro Cell Towers on private property

New technologies + need to increase data capacity, i.e. small cell nodes
What are small cell deployments?

Small cell deployment are complementary to towers, adding much needed coverage and
capacity to urban and residential areas, venues, and anywhere large crowds gather
