WHY DO WE DO IT?
•The City adopts and maintains various
documents that spell out the
community’s goals and visions
•General Plan, Zoning Code, Citywide Design Guidelines, Strategic Plan, etc.
•Using these documents, Planning staff
evaluates proposed projects and makes
decisions or recommendations
•One (or several) project at a time, we can
improve the City and/or maintain character
