fees for Planning and Building Development
Project Review section of the adopted
resolution established in Fiscal Year 2018-
2019 Schedule of Uniform Fees for
Miscellaneous Services

TheCPIIncreasewasappliedtotheDevelopmentProjectReviewbase
fees,butwasnotappliedtotheadditionalfeespersquarefootofeach
developmentproject.
TheFY2018-19MiscellaneousFeeScheduleapprovedbyCityCouncil
onlyreflectsanincreaseofapproximately0.99percent.
Uponapproval,staffwillapplythenewcorrectedfeesonagoing-forward
basisfornewdevelopmentprojectreviewapplications.

FISCAL IMPACT
No adverse economic impacts to the City if this
resolution is amended to apply the 3.88 percent CPI
increase.
If no action is taken to address the matter, an
inequitable windfall will be created for applicants
who pay less fees than the intended increase of the
3.88 percent CPI increase.
If no action is taken, there will be a decrease in the
projected revenue generated in the Revenue
Account No. 01116002-53616.
