I am writing to oppose Item 65A for the construction of a dog park in Centennial Park. As the study report shows, it would be of best interest to build the dog park on the Bristol and Garden Grove Freeway piece of land instead of at Centennial Park. The Bristol and Garden Grove location has higher visibility and access, and no impact to open spaces in Santa Ana-- an already park -poor city. That location is surrounded by apartments and homes that would benefit from an open space for their pets, but not the space at Centennial Park. The residents of Santa Ana need spaces to be active, healthy, and spend quality time with their families outdoors, not spaces for their dogs. Families already take their dogs out for walks and there is already a large amount of dog feces on the grass and track area of Centennial. Please build the dog park in the Bristol - Garden Grove location, not at Centennial. Thank you. Sincerely, Maria R.G.
