Fireworks
From the video I have done in the past of the 'street' displays with legal and illegal fireworks I do not believe wisdom in
the time of Corona Virus is
wise.
Consideration is not given to the danger of the fireworks as is seen by the injuries. But now, the PPE required for
paramedics and the hospitals for injuries is a real problem.
I strongly request that the suspension until 2021 the fireworks booths and the sale of fireworks in Santa Ana. This will
protect our first responders as well as the residents. We do not need to make Santa Ana a "HOT SPOT" by group
formations and parties on every block.
We have zero indication of school openings in the fall from SAUSD and with out the knowledge of what will open in the
school district, what will be allowed, any funds that may be raised for the schools may not be able to go to their
intended use.
Again I strongly request the suspension of fireworks sales in Santa Ana for
2020 and rigorous enforcement to avoid any Covid Virus Hot spots..
