1996 REVENUE BONDS
WRITTEN REOUEST OF AUTHORITY TO TRUS I'EE REGARDING INVESTMENTS
The undersigned hereby states and certifies:
(i) that the undersigned is the Treasurer of the Countywide Public Financing
Authority (the "Authority"), is authorized to execute this certificate on behalf of the Authority
and is knowledgeable with respect to the matters set forth herein;
(ii) that the undersigned has read Article V of the Indenture of Trust, dated as of July
1, 1996 (the "Indenture"), between U.S. Trust Company of California, N.A., as trustee, as
trustee (the "Trustee") and the Authority, and the definitions contained in the Indenture of the
capitalized terms used in said Article;
(iii) that on behalf of the Authority, the undersigned hereby requests the Trustee to
invest, on the date hereof, the amounts deposited on the date hereof in the funds established
pursuant to the Indenture in the investments set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein and hereby requests that those investments be acquired at their
Fair Market Value as such term is defined in Section 1.01 of the Indenture; and
(iv) that the undersigned acknowledges that the investments listed on Exhibit A are
"Permitted Investments"as that term is defined in the Indenture.
