PUBLIC COMMENTS - In accordance with California Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20
regarding the Brown Act and guidance from the California Department of Public Health on
gatherings, please note the following:

CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Brown Act permits legislative bodies to discuss certain matters
without members of the public present. The City Council finds, based on advice from the City
Attorney, that discussion in open session of the following matters will prejudice the position of the
City in existing and anticipated litigation:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION
pursuant to Paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Section 54956.9 of the Government
Code:
Orange County Catholic Worker, et al. v. Orange County, et al.., U.S. District Court
(Central District of California), Case No. SA CV 18-0155-DOC (KESx)

2. ANTICIPATED INITIATION OF LITIGATION PURSUANT TO SECTION
54956.9(d) OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE: One case
Potential filing of litigation to recover damages attributable to the presence of PFAS
in the OC Groundwater Basin
3. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.8:

Assessor Parcel No. 008-067-36
Agency Negotiator: Kristine Ridge, City Manager
Negotiating Parties: Terry Todd, California Department of General Services
Under Negotiation: Price and terms related to the possible acquisition of
real property.

Regular Meeting which will begin immediately following the Closed Session Meeting.
