Subject: General Plan Amendment for 2020-01 and 2020-02 PLEASE READ AT MEETING
Planning Commissioner, and members of the commission
In regard to the general plan amendment 2020-01 and 2020-02, I am greatly opposed
to the mixed use of 415 apartments, offices and restaurants
in 37 stories!
Here again, Santa Ana is on track to be the most dense city in the state. That is not a
good thing to crowd as many people as possible in a small
space. Look at what we are going through with this COVID-19 crisis. Imagine having
to isolate/quarantine a 37 story building.
The traffic on Broadway will be nothing short of horrific. For the last 10 years (?) one
Broadway has sat empty. Why? If the plan was to have
it filled with business, it didn't happen.
I urge you to turn down this general plan, it is not a good one.
Thank You,
Pamela Angell, Santa Ana Resident
