Subject: One-Broadway Project (to be read out loud)
Santa Anna planning commission my name is Francisco Gomez I am a proud member of United
brotherhood of Carpenters Local 714 and Im also a resident of Santa Ana. I am encouraging that this
project be built by a union workforce of men and women. A project like this will keep me close to home
so I dont have to journey out for work outside of my county. So I dont have to waste the countless
hours that I spend on the road on the freeways to and from work. With this project I can be closer to
home I can get to my family a lot quicker. Family is important to me especially because I have a newborn
just turned one in February this year. This is my first child, and I would hate to miss precious moments
just because in the afternoons I spend hours driving on the freeways dealing with heavy traffic. Please
encourage yourselves that this project be built by a union workforce, contracting reliable signatory
union contractors, and most of all keeping a Santa Ana resident close to home.
