Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California C"City"). RECITALS A. The parties entered into Agreement No. A-2019-190, dated October 15, 2019, by which Contractor agreed to provide janitorial services at various city facilities, including City Hall, the Main Library, and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center ("Agreement"). B. On March 1, 2020, the parties entered into First Amendment No. A-2019-190-01, by which the Agreement was amended to expand the scope of services to include enhanced cleaning services on an as -needed basis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to Increase the amount to be expendcd under the Agreement accordingly. C. The Agreement remains in effect through October 31, 2022, with provision for extension. D. The parties now wish to amend the scope of services to include additional cleaning services on an as -needed basis made necessary by the relocation of Water Resources Division staff from the City's Corporate Yard to various otherwater facilities because of the COVID-19 pandemic, including mobile offices and restrooms. The Parties therefore agree; I. Section 1, Scope of Setvices, is amended to include the services described on Exhibit A, on an as -needed basis, for the period from April 1, 2021 through December 31, 202 L 2. Section 2.a, Compensation, is amended to increase the total amount to be expended under the Agreement by $50,000 for the period from April 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, 3. Except as modified by this Second Amendment, and ail prior amendments, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
