I, Karen Cortez, urge Santa Ana City Council to support the Senate Bill 2, on increasing accountability of law
enforcement officers that commit serious abuses of a person's civil rights. Santa Ana is a predominantly Latin@
population, who are often at major risk of police misconduct and abuse due to historical structures of racism and
bias and discrimination against people of color. Please support Senate Bill 2.
