My day to day duties include to provide World Class customer service with operations and resolve and handle any customer requests/issues if any. I also have witnessed firsthand the great quality of service we provide to our customers. Every, and I mean every customer is handled with a world class attitude to ensure every customer is satisfied. I am responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of the financial statements, ensuring the financial statements are issued timely and accurately. As an employee of Athens I can tell you that when I joined the Company in July 2020 1 was extremely impressed with the number of strong leaders within the organization. In our bi-weekly Leadership meetings, which includes approximately SO employees, each member is required to present a few times a year. These presentations allow all divisions and departments to share information which ultimately results in process improvements and overall cost savings to the Company. The Leadership group also includes many strategic roles, IT, risk, safety, project management and process improvement. With all these resources it allows everyone to excel I also have witnessed firsthand the great quality of service we provide. I'm also very impressed with our Company culture and Employee Relations. The Company encourages employee development and works with our talented leaders to move them into other roles when employees have out grown their current role. The OBC department ensures every driver is providing service to all of commercial customers and reporting any service issues via mobile tablets that allows our Customer Service team report these quickly to resolve the issue. As an employee of Athens I can tell you that since working with Athens for about 4yrs I truly value the relationships that Athens have developed with our communities, our customer and us as employees. Athens does a great job in participating in local events for the city that are greatly appreciated by our customers. Athens is always doing that extra for us as employees in making a positive, fun and safe environment and making the feel as we are all one team and one family. I am also responsible for accepting customers payments and assisting with billing. In addition I open up new services for commercial and residential properties. As well as, providing access and assistance on the option of renting roll off and temporary bins. Now as an Athens employee I can tell you that I don't feel like just another worker. I feel like I am part of a family and no matter how busy or overwhelmed we get I know that there is always a fellow employee ready to help.
