over the age of eighteen years, and not a party to or Interested in the above
entitled matter. I am the principal clerk of the printer and publisher of the
ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER, a newspaper published in the English
language in the city of SANTA ANA, county of ORANGE, and adjudged a
newspaper of general circulation as defined by the laws of the State of
California by the Superior Court of the County of ORANGE, State of California,

MANAGEMENT PLAN & WATER
SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN

Subject Notice of Pudic Hearing to Adopt
a Resdution Approving the 2020 Urban
Water Management Plan, 2020 Water
Shortage Contingency Plan. and
Appendix J as an Addendum to its 2015
Urban Water Management Ran
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana ("City")
will hold a public hearing on June 1, 2020,
or as soon thereafter as the Agenda
permits, In the Council Chamber of the
City, to considerthe City's proposed 2020
Urban Water Management Plan
UWMP"), 2020 Water Shortage
Contingency Ran ('WSCP"), and
Appendix J as an Addendum to its 2015
UWMP In advance of their proposed
adoption.
The pudic hearing Is being held In
accordance with the Urban Water
Management Nanning Act (California
Water Code Sections 10610 through
10656, herein referred to as the "Act').
The Act requires "every urban water
supplier providing water for municipal
purposes to more than 3,000 customers
or supplying more than 3,000 acre-feet of
water annually" to prepare, adopt, and file
a UWMP with the California Department
of Water Resources and review and
update its UWMP every five years. The
purpose of the pudic hearing will be to
solicit pudic comment prior to adoption of
the proposed updated UWMP and WSCP.

INVITATION TO BE HEARD: A public
hearing of the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana to consuld, approval of the
duti eson and consider adoption of the
UPJMP and WSCP will be hdd on June 1,
2021 at 545 p.m Due to the ongoing
pandemic. City Council will hold its
meeting virtually. NI persons desiring to
comment on, or having objections to the
content or adequacy of the UWMP and
WSCP may submit written comments to
the Clerk of the Conrad by mail to City of
