Project Location: 3220 South Bristol Street located in the Planned Shopping Center
(C4) and Light Industrial (M1) zoning district.
Project Applicant:Marilyn Warren, representing The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
Company (dba AT&T).
Proposed Project:The applicant proposes to construct a front yard fence and gate
seven feet in height, exceeding the City’s maximum front yard fence height standard by
three feet. The applicant is requesting approval of Minor Exception No. 202101 as
conditioned to allow the increase in the height of the fence and gate from four feet to
seven feet.
Environmental Impact:The Zoning Administrator will consider a determination that
the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to
Section 15303 (3)(e) of the CEQA Guidelines – New Construction of Conversion of
Small Structures. Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 202169 will be filed
for this project.
Recommended Action: Adopt a resolution approving Minor Exception No. 202101
as conditioned.
2.Minor Exception No. 202103 – Selena Kelaher, Case Planner
Project Location: 4405 West Edinger Avenue located in the SingleFamily
Residential (R1) zoning district.
Project Applicant: Michel Girgis, representing the Archangel Michael Coptic
Orthodox Church.
Proposed Project:The applicant proposes to construct a front yard fence seven feet
in height, exceeding the City’s maximum front yard fence height standard by three feet.
The applicant is requesting approval of Minor Exception No. 202103 as conditioned to
allow the increase in the height of the fence and gate from four feet to seven feet.
Environmental Impact:The Zoning Administrator will consider a determination that
the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to

accompanied by the required filing fee, and a copy sent to the Planning Department, within
ten days of the date of the Zoning Administrator’s action, by 5:00 p.m. If the final day to
appeal falls on a City Hall observed holiday or a day when City hall is closed, the final day to
appeal shall be extended to the next day City Hall is open for public business. Please note:
