The streets that define my community are Bristol, Mcfadden, Edinger, Raitt, Warner, Fairview, and Willits. My community is composed of low-income Latino families who are apartment renters. There are extremely hard-working families, many of whom have essential jobs that are sadly often overlooked and poorly paid. The main educational institutions are Gerald P. Carr Intermediate, Valley Highschool, King Elementary, Diamon Elementary School, Sepulveda Elementary, Lorin Griset, and Monte Vista Elementary School. The religious institutions are Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Church of the Nazarene Does your community have major geographical boundaries/features (freeways, parks, lakes, mountains)? The parks in my community are Jerome Park and Adams Park. Do you have concerns about the current boundaries of your Ward? Yes, I am a WARD 2 resident. My main concern is that the income limits of the population south of Warner to Sunflower Ave. are very different than the income limits of my community (North of Warner to First St.).
