• Provides the public an opportunity to get
involved and learn about homelessness and
the available resources and services
• Opportunity to reconcile and update the
Veteran Registry and bring us one step closer
to ending veteran homelessness
• Opportunity to count families and transitional
age youth experiencing homelessness and
connect them to needed resources

• Deployment Center Setup
• Deployment Center Cleanup
• Team Captain and Field Survey Volunteers
• Central SPA needs 60 Team Captains and
an additional 180 individuals per shift
• Teams of 3-4 people
4:30am to 9:00am & 6:30pm to 11:00pm

Additional Ways to Support
• Donations support the coordination efforts of the 2022 Point In
Time Count.
• 5,000 Snack kits
• 40 Cases of water bottles
• 200 $25 gift cards to grocery stores
• 5,000 $5 gift cards to fast food establishments
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies
– 5,000 surgical masks
– 1,000 latex-free disposable gloves
– 1,000 individual hand sanitizers
– 50 packs of disinfectant wipes
– 5,000 Snack kits

• The Santa Ana Multi-disciplinary Homeless Response Team
– Operates 7 days a week
– From 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
– Calls to the Police and Fire Departments regarding
non-criminal or non-emergency homeless related
situations are transferred to CityNet dispatch
– Specially trained response teams are dispatched to
address and engage with the homeless population
– Issues involving criminal conduct or activity outside
the capabilities of these teams are referred to first
responders
