What is the name of the neighborhood where you reside?
Sunwood central
How do you describe your community to someone who hasn’t visited? What streets/boundaries define
your community?
It’s a quiet and family oriented community. I’m on olive street closer to flower and segerstrom.
What are the major cultural/recreational/educational/religious institutions in your community?
Before the pandemic, the neighbors would get together and do posadas the week leading to Christmas.
Does your community have major geographical boundaries/features (freeways, parks, lakes, mountains)?
Not sure
Do you have concerns about the current boundaries of your Ward?
Not too sure what that means? As a resident, I feel there should be letters mailed out in Spanish and English
informing us about this. I’m trying to educate myself about the city of Santa Ana a little more. I think my
motivation was the fact that the homeless situation is getting out of control!! I fear for my children going
outside, let alone my 12 year old walking to school. I see it everyday. The hotel off Bristol and segerstrom is
disgusting! We see outside activity all the time. Also the 7-11 on Dyer and main is even worse. You see
homeless shooting up in plain site.

I really wish the city would spend more money on this situation. The LA encampments are all coming down. I
fear they will all come to Orange County and first place is Santa Ana since we have the resource they need.
